Fees

We have two types of registration with corresponding fees: paper registration and attendance registration.

Every FOIS research paper must be registered (only once) to be included in the proceedings and presented at the conference. In addition, at least one author of each paper must be registered to attend the conference.

Attendance

There are two ways to attend FOIS and its workshops: (1) physically in-person, and (2) online.

The full FOIS conference physical attendance registration includes the FOIS main conference, its workshops, tutorials, coffee breaks, and social dinner.

The BOSK Golden Package is all-inclusive for the Bolzano Summer Of Knowledge, and includes full registration for FOIS 2021 as well as for several other conferences and related events.

The registration fees are summarised in the table below (2021 proceedings authors also need to consider the paper registration fee).

Paper registration (FOIS 2021 research paper only)

Each paper must be registered individually, only once.
Paper registration fees are: 150 EUR per paper.
The FOIS 2021 proceedings are published as Gold Open Access with IOS Press.

FOIS 2020 papers do not require paper registration, but do require an author to attend the conference to present their paper, either physically in-person or online.

Papers at Workshops, Early Career Symposium, Ontology Showcase, and FOIS Demonstrations also do not require a paper registration.
